Ordering 2008 F350

I'm selling my Hummer tomorrow and ordering a Black 2008 F350 FX4 Crew Diesel. I will run Toyo MT with the new black Moto Metals. I will go with all options less Nav. Looking foward to it.

Any recommended do's or don'ts on the options?

Thanks.

If you are going to do any towing, get the TowCommand system.

Will do, one of the main reasons why I am dumping the Hummer. It is more than I need at this time; however, no limits to my next TOY hauler...

I recommend getting a F350 XL Regular cab with 4x4, and the heavy duty wide-frame suspension system along with the 6 speed standard shift and manual transfer case.

Get the grey bumpers... you won't regret it... especially if you really plan to beat the truck up in the back woods.

Just make sure your Motos can surpass the limits of GWVR and your hauling capacity. Check in with Wandell for specifics.

The good news is that I have a company car with free gas. In turn, I don't mind the mpg's when this ride is for play only.

Actually if he gets the V10 only then will he see the worst mileage of any vehicle ever!

Besides, when will folks get it - these trucks are not bought with mileage considerations anyway...

MotoX - if you ever make it to west Michigan maybe you'll see me ridin' my 06 Honda TRX450R.

Keep the rubber side down and if you know Wes Miller (Huevos) tell him PJ says 'Hi'

Chances are if you life it alot and throw on some big tires, you can kiss that "truck in the garage" idea goodbye.

My truck barely fits into my garage, and I can't really get out once it's in the garage. I parked in one of those parking structures the other day and didn't pay attention to the clearance warning.......very very close call. Won't be making that mistake again.
