Just seen on the news ford is recalling over 100,000 2008 model ford superdutys due to seat failure. A weld that holds the back of the seat to the seat base is cracking making the seat incompatible with rules and standards. Be on the look out for your recall notice.

I doubt that it's anything serious unless you get in a wreck. I am 6'2" and weigh 240 lbs. I never noticed the seat being weak or loose, so I suppose it's probably something they found when they examined a crashed truck.
