V10 changes and specs revisited..

What years recieved power upgrades on the V10? I believe 2001 received one over the previous years, did it not?
Then in 2005, the 3valve was introduced, correct?
Other than the obvious, what are the other differences between a 2 and 3 valve V10engine?
I know this is relative, but does the 3valve garner more mpg than the 2valve?

I have a 2001 V10 crewcab Lariat and the power is more than adequate, although at times I had thought it should have performed better than it did.
As many of you may know, i'm in the market for a used 4x4 (mines a 4x2) and i've pretty much decided to stick with the SuperDuty line and the V10 engine so i'm now just trying to get some final questions answered...
Thanks all....
