Official Diesel Fuel Price Thread
Even though I don't own a diesel truck... I watch the price of diesel anyways... because I might get a diesel truck one of these days. But that's besides the point.
The highest I've seen so far was $4.36 Rome, N.Y. Nice & Easy on RT 26 North.
What's everybody else looking at?

Here:
$4.20 Diesel (7.3L, 6.0L, 6.4L juice)
$3.19 Gas (V8, V10 juice)
Wow!! - fuel savings is closer than ever between gas and diesel:
Diesel (Powerstroke avg):
38gal X 16mpg (avg) = 608 miles
38gal X $4.20 = $159.60
Gas (V10):
38gal X 12mpg (avg) = 456 miles
so....if I took:
608 miles / 12mpg = 50.67gal
50.67gal X $3.19 = $161.64
You diesel guys save $2.00 to put towards a large cup of coffee -
Now I know it's not absolute as some diesels get better fuel mileage and even some V10 follks get a little better at times too (not included is other variables like the V10 guy having to waste time to refill with more gas...etc) However, I thought it was fun pushing the #'s
Remember this is just fun so don't retort all angry
