Are the '08 headlights sealed or not?

Due to the fact that the truck is in the shop I can not answer my own question.
I have the '08 F250 SD FX4X4. I am wanting to change the headlight bulbs and fog light bulbs to Sylvania bulbs.
It shows that there are on of two types of headlights, "sealed beam headlamps" or "replaceable halogen capsules".
Any ideas on this?
Has anyone changed their bulbs in the headlamp or fog?
Also I am thinking of going HID.

Thanks

if your even thinking about hids to do it, prices on ebay are about $80 shipped. sliverstars are about $40. ive had both and have to say sliverstars were cool for abit, but nothing beats hids.

You have the headlights that allow you to use Silver Stars...as a matter of fact, I had Silver Stars in that truck before I traded it. The ones that don't use that type of bulb look like this:

Silver stars are what you left in the truck? The suckers are bright but I want brighter. Same w/fogs.

No, I pulled them out the night before i traded it and put the stock bulbs back in the headlights and fogs. I wasn't going to spend $80 twice!

You're lucky I left that drop-in bedliner in there though!

Thanks for the liner. I owe you for that.

Could you tell a difference in the bulbs/lights when the Sylvanias were in there?

Did you keep your toyo's? How did you like them?

I just checked out your gallery. Thanks for the pics of my truck.

I could definitely tell a difference with the Silver Stars, but probably not worth $80. If you're going to do anything, I would do the HIDs. I am thinking about doing them myself.

Yeah, I kept the Toyo's. They were $1300, so I didn't want to spend that money twice. Two Rivers swapped the wheels and tires for me in the Quick Lane. Your truck has the brand new wheels and tires that came off my new truck. No problem with the pics...I have the high resolution pictures too if you want them.
