Guess that price...
I went by the dealership yesterday to drop the truck off for the lift, tires, paint work and fender flares. I went through the used car lot and saw my old F250 there. Thought you all might want to take a guess at what they listed it at, and what they gave me as a trade in value. Here are the details...
2000 F250 V-10 Crew Cab XLT 4X4
72,000 miles
Burgundy with silver two tone
grey cloth interior
non-powered small mirrors
few minor dents, dings and scratches
squeeky brakes
ticking noise from under the hood
newer tires
I'll fill you in tomorrow on what I got for a trade in, and what they have it listed for.

I was worried the trade would be that low, but it actually ended up being quite a bit more. They offered $13,800 for trade and I talked them up $500 to $14,300. It is sitting on the lot for $18,995, which is about a grand more than we bought it for a year and a half ago. No wonder they have about 30 used superduty's sitting on the lot right now.

I was thinking about 14K, last march when my dad got his new truck they have him 10,500 on his '02 F-250 extended cab XLT with the 5.4 with 102k on it. And that was a farm truck that was beat up and hardly running after he put it through hell for 5 years. It was a great truck but my dad doesn't take it easy on his trucks, 100 thousand miles of dirt and gravel roads, pulling stuff all the time, and him just being rough on it, it was finally time to trade it in. Maybe he just got a good deal, he must have if thats all you got for yours. Although his truck had more miles and was in worse condition yours was two years older.
