I have a full size steel Weatherguard that I love. You couldn't pay me to put a Kobalt or Husky box on my truck...but that's just me.

If you want good quality at a decent price, buy a UWS. If you want great quality and the price doesn't matter, buy a Weatherguard.

I just bought a Trailboss...made by better built however, with different standarsd.

The Kobalt boxes are made by BB, however they are the entry level box, the one I bought isn't much better HOWEVER I needed the "RV" box with the slanted lid. I LOVE it.

Here is a pic after it was line-x'ed.

UWS are great boxes but they don't make what I wanted.

Sweet! I mounted one of these inside my center console for easy storage of my sidearm.

Ha- I am looking at tool boxes too! . I do like the Weatherguard, but the Trailboss (low profile - black) is appealing especially with the price ($320). I don't need a major heavy duty piece so it may do the trick.

Here's what I am looking at:

The first time you come out to your truck and all your tools are gone, you may reconsider that statement. I still believe that you get what you pay for.
