im looking at a 94 f250 extended cab 4x4. its got the 5.8. its also got a snow way plow. theyre asking $3800. ive looked around but cant find any info. whats the gas mileage like with the 5.8s?

 

Crap at best. Anything over 13 MPG and you're lucky.

FYI... The 460, 4:30 rear, 5-speed manual got around 8-9mpg (F350 SRW)

 

one good thing is with that snow way plow they probably didnt do any commercial plowing.

 

yea. weve got a 97 super duty with a dump at work with the 460. bye bye gas. ive lost track of how many times we fill up each week.

but yea the truck is clean not one spot of rust on the body. newer all terrain tires. i dont really plan on using the plow. ill end up selling it most likely. i was just curious on the gas mileage. cuz i did a lil looking around an average for a the 6.8 v10 was around 13mpg. just wondering if the 5.8 was any better.
