Rize 6" with firestone rear airbags
I had these installed a while ago, but never did post up pictures. I decided on the Firestone airbag set up for the rear to help level things out rather than going with the Rize Add-A-Leaf system. I still have to install the on board compressor, but I at least have the bags up and running.
The ride is about the same with 20lbs in the bags, and the truck still bull dogs a little, but only by about an inch. At 40-60lbs, it sits level. This picture was at 70lbs since I had been hauling water, so the rear sits up a little high.
Here is the before...

Another picture with better light...

Thanks Pagnew.
I forgot to mention about the ride quality with the airbags inflated. With a load of water (~2800 pounds) or towing my boat, it rides great with 70lbs in the rear. Once the bed is empty though, it feels like the truck wants to bounce off the roads when I hit a bump, and is a pretty rough ride. It is fine at 20lbs, but at 40lbs without a load, the ride starts to get a little rough again.

Air bags ?????
I have a 2006 F250 crew cab / 4" lift kit / level..... I sometimes pull a 7ton
tandem w/ tractor that really takes the rear end down.... I have been thinking about some air bags on the rear to level up the rear end when loaded??? Do you still like the Firestone bags???? Tell me more... where did you get them and how much??? Did you do the install ????
THANKS

BKU, I haven't done any other mods to the truck yet. I might throw on a CAI and exhaust, but I think I'm going to leave it pretty much the way it is now. I still haven't been able to recalibrate the speedometer with the larger tires and the dealership is unable to.
ClayBustrr, I got mine through Summit Racing. They were much less expensive even after shipping than the local retailers. You can get the basic rear air bag set up for $240. I also purchased the on board compressor (which I still have yet to install), which was another $275.
The part numbers are:
FIP-2071 for the air spring kit
FIP-2219 for the air spring ride rite
I am fairly certain that the FIP-2071 is the same kit that would work for your 2006, but I would double check that. They are definately worth getting with the heavy loads, but running a bunch of air in them without a load makes the ride pretty rough. I had the local dealership do the install because I was in a time crunch to get it done before taking a trip, but my brother installed his faster than it took the dealership. They dinged me $375 for the install which was beyond highway robbery. Should take a couple hours at most for a dealership to get it done.
