Depends on what kind of F-250 it is. In 1999 there were two F-250s made, a light duty version that looks like a F-150, and the F-250 Superduty, which obviously looks like the Superduty. The LD F-250 had the 4.6 and 5.4 available. The Superduty had the 5.4, 6.8, and 7.3 available. Axle depends on if it is a Superduty or not. Transmission will probably be the 4R100.

Well said.

And by the way, in case you're unclear:

4.6L and 5.4L = V8
6.8L = V10
7.3L = Diesel V8

Is it a Superduty or not??? A 1999 Superduty 4x4 will have a Dana 50 front and a 10.5 Sterling rear.

No it won't have the 5.8. The 351 and 302 aren't used in the trucks anymore. It's all 4.6, 5.4, 6.8, etc... I'd elaborate but I'm too sleepy...
