07 compared to an 08

Ok so I just began looking at superduties, I just dont think I need a new one, so I was looking at used 07s and there seems to be many different things cosmetically. Are there any differences in drivetrain or engine? And if there is anyone out there who has bought one recently if they would just give some specs and about what you payed.

By the way I have been looking at a lariat screw 4x4 diesel. Thanks for any and all information!

gas:

Both the '08 and '07 ( and '05, '06) share the same V8 5.4L and V10 6.8L 3 valve motors

diesel:

'07 has 6.0L turbo-diesel
'08 has 6.4L twin turbo-diesel
