I just ordered one for my truck last week. The reason I ordered one for mine is I had a long trip a couple weeks ago I noticed the engine temp dropped considerably when I was running into the wind with the temps just about zero.

Today’s sophisticated trucks at there finest! At least the onboard computer told you there was major design flaw.
That's one small step fwd and two leaps back!

Now that's what i'm talkin' about, Pagnew!!!
That's how my 06 used to be too....no trouble.
As I type this, my 2009 air filter is drying out over the furnace register for the 2nd time this weekend, just because it is snowing out!!!
What a friggin' joke..
Here is a picture to be included in the manual, for proper air filter maintenance

Is the no stock thing a USA prb?? is it stock in Canada?....crazy!
If it's a design flaw they need to give those covers and not charge a nickel.
Especially if the dealer you bought the truck from (in the north) knew this!!!!
A good example (though small) as to why the Big 3 have troubles!
