Congrats on the new truck. I really like the red. What kind of mileage are you seeing with the V10?

Problaby close to 11 according to the computer. It doest really change much. Mine alwasy reads from 10.5-12.9. Highway or city. doesnt affect it.

The lie-o-meter is not very accurate with the mileage.

The best way is to hand calculate it.

The problem I have found with hand calculating is that it's hard to tell just how much fuel is in the tank at fill-up. Because of the vent tube in the tank, the fuel pump shuts off long before the tank is actually full. I have calculated by filling to the automatic shutoff and I have calculated by filling until the filler neck was full. The trick is making sure that you fill the same way both times, otherwise it will throw off your calculations. That extra two gallons of fuel between the automatic shutoff and topping off can make a big difference.

I know the computer is not acurate but i only hand calculated it a few times and it was around 13 hwy.

I drove around with the computer saying 0 miles to empty and was only able to get 23 gallons in it. susposed to be 30 gallon tank.
