Thumbs up

It could be anything?????? Fuel, fuel pump, water in fuel, needs new fuel filter, something electrical??????

Unhappy

Did you find anything over there???
My truck has reciently cut off twice with me, once I was only doing about 30mph and the last time at about 60mph. No power at 60 is SCARRY!!! Mine also stumbles a couple of times right before cutting out. I'd thought it was my Superchip, that it'd somehow backed out. But this second time after having the same thing happen again, I don't think it's the chip. Found some info on the diesel board that leads me to think it's the camshaft position sensor. I've now pulled my chip (runs like a dead dog now) and got an apt at Ford for next week to check it out. I'll post back after that.

Just had that problem and it was the cam sensing unit. A quick and easy fix.

Yep, that's exactly what I thought it was too. Unfornately Ford didn't see it that way because they know I have a chip. They didn't even check for the sensor problem, just voided my warrenty on my PCM instead. They actually wanted to remove the PCM and replace it; they said mine was fried. I made them stop work on my truck and got it out of their shop. (still had to pay their labor/diagnostic charges) Called Mike T as soon as I got home. This happened a few weeks ago and I'm still driving that truck w/the "fried" computer. It hasn't stalled since then but if it does, I've done enough research that I can get my husband to change out that sensor and not have to take it back to ford.

Cool

I have a cousin who had a 97 F-350 THAT DONE THE SAME THING . HE HAD ME CHANGED THE FUELFILTER & CLEAN THE LINES & everything else ya can imagine I finally told him to carry to our friend who worked @ the Ford dealer & have him put it on the computer

Because i had told him it had to be a sensor or in the computer itself turned out to be a cam sensor .

Yall have a goodone
