finally decided on truck upgrades and a bit about Farmboy Fabrications

Ive posted a few threads askin questions and postin ideas about what id like to do to my truck so its ready when i get home. Kevin at Farmboy fabrications has been a big help, sent me 5 or 6 dozen estimates as I change my mind about stuff and ponder ideas. Ive called him a few times and i never feel like im hassling him, good guy. Jesse as well, the phones were down at the shop and he gave me his cell. From dealin with them so far, i can tell im goin to be happy when its done. Good couple of guys to deal with.

Now, I FINALLY got settled in on what im going to have done.
BFGoodrich Mud Terrain KM2's- 35x12.5/r17- 5 of em
a Daystar 2.5 inch leveling kit
Procomp 3000 series shocks for the front
Smittybuilt Light Bar
4 KC Rally 800 130w lights
Recon Smoked cab light, amber bulbs.

Sent them half the money, waitin on parts, should be in the shop by the second week of FEB. I wont see it till april.

I was wantin to put a hood on it, a grill, CAI and a tuner, but decided to keep it simple, like the owner.

It is still goin to an exhaust shop before i get back to get Gibson short headers and 2.5 inch SS dual exhaust with magnaflow hi-flow cats, magnaflow x pipe and flowmaster 40 series mufflers. and its going to exit in from of the rear tire.

damn i want my truck

where r u? deployed or somethin? I was the same way when i was deployed but trying to decide between a harley, subaru STi or a Ford truck. I of course decided on the truck as to keep myself out of a TON of tickets with the STi and i was stationed at ft drum ny where it is -1000 degrees 9 months out of the year so that ruled out the bike

I've known Jesse since about 2002 (wow has it really been 8 years), and he's a good guy and does run a good business. You shouldn't have any problems with his shop.

Yes, be jealous. I was home for 5 months between tours. it may be a 6 month deployment, but with 2 months of training for each, 8 months out each time.

i know it aint as bad as the army, but bein gone is bein gone.

yeah we do JRTC and NTC before deployments, and field time so it was about 2 months total before that deployment. me personally I will take the 6 months.
