I have a 2000 F-250 PSD, Lariat package, and was wondering if anyone has ever successfully installed the telescoping side mirrors with th eilluminated turn signals on them? I believe they started putting these on super duties in '03, so I wasnt sure if there was any way to do it on an '00?

Yes you can add them, but you'll have to wire up the turn signals yourself.

 

The plug will also be different since they changed styles in the 01 and up trucks. You should be able to find a pigtail harness online or you can splice your old connector onto the new mirrors.


FYI, the 03+ mirrors with the turn signal lights also have a heated defrost feature as well. That will also have to be wired up to a switch if you want to use it.

I thought I would need this when I did mine, (that's why I saved the link) but it was plug and play with my 2003 F350.

 

If you check around alot of people are running 08 mirrors on their 250s...they look sweet!!
Check this link out it has the whole setup to install them but it is kinda expensive, prob could find it cheaper
