Another excellent looking truck. I still don't like the new dually fenders on the back.

Think of this

Also keep in mind that better aerodynamics equal better MPGs.

Hmm...since the beds are pretty dang similar and I know the tail lights and tailgate are interchangeable...I wonder how one of those new rear bumpers like that would fit (and look) on my '03 F150

The rear bumper would fit, however, the short bed is a 6 3/4' bed and it'll be like 4" wider at the cab. The tailgate off 2008 & up Superduties will fit a 1997-2003 F-150.

My next truck will likely be a dually, but those dually fenders are awful. I think they would have been better off making them part of the actual bedsides like GM and Dodge are doing.

Maybe this truck will look better in person. From the pics so far I'm not sure I like it.

Well... looks like my 2011 may not be an F-150 after all. Actually, I had seen enough on the 2011 Superduty before I bought this 2010 F-150 Screw. I knew I'd have issues stepping down tp an F-150 the minute I'd see a new Superduty on the lot, but, the cost of diesel and the poor economy numbers they generate are not for daily driving 50k+ a year anymore. The newest reports say the new 6.7L is getting mpg's in the low to mid 20's on most of the current pre-build highway test trucks. I am not sure I'll ever see a diesel again, but once that 6.2L is tested, I may go back to a Superduty. It will all depend on how well my 2010 F-150 tows my travel trailer in spring. I'm hoping good enough to hit 80K on the ticker before even looking at a new truck again. Well, buying one... I'll always look.

Personally, I absolutely Love it! I think that it will be a HUGE hit! The electronic gizmos are ingenious!

I agree, but if I were buying a vehicle that weighed over 9k empty and had a diesel engine I wouldn't be worried about a 2-3% mpg increase with some horrible looking fenders.

I do agree that MPGs are important but I personally think that looking good is pretty important too.

Well you and I know that, but it seems many more don't see it that way. And get their panties in a bunch when their 9k lb trucks gets less mileage than my F150, yet puts out almost double the power.

Seems people are going to want to butcher Ford if this truck gets any less than 20mpgs, and so far, according to some sources that have tested that, it gets just that.

Personally, I don't have a problem with the fenders. I think it's a big change to a truck that has gone 10 years without a major update. And it sets itself apart from the competition now with Dodge going to full-size fenders on the Mega Cab dually.

Cannot wait to see these trucks in at work. Even though I work in the service end of the dealership, so maybe seeing them in early would be a bad thing , still cant wait to drive one.
