I have been killing myself looking for the pcv valve on my 2004 f250 superduty, ive been to every seach engine called Auto dealers and suppliers and searched myself for hours to try and find this $3 piece, with no luck, on the manifold there is a hose that comes out with a Blue tube, is this the pcv valve and i just bought the wrong part...? if anyone could help or has a picture of where it goes i would be so greatful, thank you for any help on this

Thanks for getting back to me I have a Triton F-250 5.4L V8 I have continued to search on the truck and online, plus talked to the guys at autozone and still can not find an answer being such a common truck i wouldnt think it would be such a problem but has gotten the best of me.....there is a schematics sticker on the front of the truck that shows a "pcv valve" off of the "MAN" whick i am guessing is the manifold, but still can not find it...thanks in advance for your help

 

I don't think there's a PCV valve per se on the 5.4, I think there's just a fixed orifice buried in there somewhere. The guys in the V-8 engines forum can probably pin it down for you. I'd recommend you repost there or ask a moderator to move this thread for you.
