I just recently bought a 04 F250 with the 6.0 PS. I want it to sound a bit louder. I like the loud whistle sound, but cant afford a 03 turbo Since i don't have much money after buying the truck. I was thinking on either cutting out the muffler or the cat, maybe both.will this create a good sound? Which should i do, and will it mess anything up on my 6.0??? Any advice would be appreciated!

Nearly every modded diesel out there doesn't have a muffler on it. Or a cat.

 

take the cat out and muffler and it will sound like a jet at idle.

 

well i guess that settles it. cat and muffler=gone
