A/C Not Blowing Hard At All

The A/C in my dad's 04 F-350 Superduty just flat out doesn't blow at all. There is a little bit of pressure that comes out but not much. It's almost as if there is a filter plugged full of dirt or something. Does anyone know where there may be one to clean or where maybe something could be clogged up? Thanks, Brent

He probably needs a new blower motor resistor. Can you hear the fan running? There is no filter on these trucks.

Yeah you can definately hear the fan. It sounds like a hurricane under the passenger side dash. Its just that there isn't very much pressure. I just wondered if there was anything that could need cleaned since its driven down dirt roads all day.

Yeah it still blows cold. Its just real loud under the passenger dash, but when its on full blast its like the first spot in my F-150. I just know that it should blow more!

Pop out the blower motor underneath the hood and see how it looks.

I have an easy fix for a/c not blowing hard.

done this on a 97 f-150. in the passenger floorboard directly under the glove box is a black cover with a few screws. remove it. directly in front of the blower motor you will see a plastic rectangle about an inch wide by a foot long. use a utility knife & cut it out. take a wire brush to the condenser coil inside & tons of gunk will come out. spray it with a heavy cleaner like clr or alumibrite & let dry. glue or tape the rectangle you cut out back on. reinstall cover & your air will blow like new again. 15 min job. find pics by searching f150 cabin filter installation.
