Most people seem to be getting around 16 MPG around town.

FreekyFX4- What kind of MPG's you gettin with your 6.4? Has it been a pretty reliable engine overall?? I'm looking to trade up from my 06 F150 and just wanna make sure I'll be getting an overall improvement with my trade. I know the HP and Torque aren't even worth comparing due to the fact that it's a diesel. So pretty much whats your overall review on the 6.4??

It's been very reliable. I love the truck and plan to keep it at least ten years. The difference between the 06 and the 08-10 is bigger than the difference between the 08-10 and the 11. The interior is a huge difference and was enough for me to not even consider the 07 when I bought my 08. I was looking at an 07 Harley Davidson F350 and my 08 FX4, and the 08 just seemed nicer and rode so much better than the 07. Go drive one before you decide. A diesel is not for everyone. They take a lot more maintenance and you have to be much more deliberate in how you use a diesel. If you like "spending time" with your vehicle, a diesel may be for you.

I get about 13.5 MPG around town.
