Looking at 98+ F250 and F350's. My wife, nor do I want leather in the Florida heat. Do all Lariats have leather or could they be had without?

my dads 99 7.3 diesel is a Lariat and has cloth interior. I haven't seen another one. It hasn't been rebadged and it is a lariat, with cloth interior. Build date of 08/98.

 

It's rare. Ford bundled the leather into a preferred package for about $1,000.
The package included:
$684 AC
$328 Cruise control
$247 6-way power driver's seat
$144 Remote Entry

Those prices are way past the $1,000 package cost which also included leather, leather steering wheel and alloy wheels.

That's why it's hard to find cloth in those trims, the package was a bargain.
It was available for both the XLT & Lariat, package 607A for the XLT and 608A for the Lariat.

 

You could always put seat covers over the leather...

 

By the looks of your signature, it's a Canadian truck. They offered Lariats with cloth in Canada for several years.

 

Bet you could find someone willing to give you their cloth seats even up for the leather... lots of people want Leather. I did until I put it in my Last Ram and now I actually prefer cloth. There was nothing too thrilling about having leather interior to me

 

im sure if you wanted to order a truck that way, and ford wouldnt make it, the dealership would be glad to swap seats, and upgrade an XLT to leather and sell it for more then its worth

I seen a 2000 Lariat that didn't have leather. I love my leather seats tho!

 

I only just started caring about having leather because I realized it would be easy to clean. I'm in contruction, and every month my interior needs a good cleaning because of all the mud and dust, and you really can't get the cloth completely clean when it's been pounded with dirt.

Even then, it doesn't make or break a truck for me. I haven't had leather yet, but maybe someday.
