Newness of parts...

I think I'm hoarding truck parts...

Picked this up over the weekend...

It goes to paint tomorrow, along with the top bumper trim and the fender flares I bought way back when...

Still have it... this one was just an awesome deal (paid about half of what I should have paid) and in 10x better shape.

Fender flares and the top bumper trim are all prepped and ready to go to paint with the bed tomorrow. I don't know how long it'll take to get done though.

Bed, flares, and bumper trim have been dropped off at paint. He said it'd be done in about 2 weeks, I told him take his time, so it'll prob be more like 3.

Patrick, I bet you are accumulating them faster than you can use them and get rid of them!

Have you bought that 97 yet?

Patman, wtf do you need another truck for??

Talked to the lady at work today (wife of the bodyguy who's doing my work). Everything is sanded and ready to go. The 3 tiny dings on the bed were worked out. I'm picking up the paint today/tomorrow and he'll have it painted by the weekend.

New bed looks good and i can understand if you get a new bed with line-x and paint cheaper than fixing the old

To fix my current bed and repaint would probably be somewhere in the neighborhood of $2000, possibly more. Actually, it'd be around $2500 after Line-X. With this bed (which already has Line-X) and paint, I'll be right at $1000.
