Got me a new Boss V-XT
#2
Sweet! I ordered the steel. I think poly was a couple hundred more. I did get smartlocks though. I have a few lots to do myself, on our own properties otherwise I am at the mercy of being called back every year for subcontracting. Are you in landscaping or just plowing? You salt too? I have a swing-away that I have to mount. I keep on telling myself I should put out some mailers to try to gain my own accounts in case they don't have work for me.
I traded in my 08' F250 Reg cab along with the Blizzard Speedwing that came with it. That VXT plow looks sweet. The only drawback I heard was no trip in scoop mode. Carefull.

And Im not a landscaper, Im a general contractor and specialize in cement and masonry along with building and maintaining commercial kitchens.
We also own a lot of commercial property so 75% of my plow use is for our lots. The other 25% is for people I know. For a couple years I plowed for customers and did not like the aggravation. I kept the few good ones I had and cut the rest loose.

I could of used one last year in pigeon forge, TN. The truck that was suppose to keep the roads clean for the cabins broke down so we were driving in about 4inc of snow and ice going up into the MNTs... Was not fun at all, I remember there was one road we had to go up and I had the truck in 4x4 high since low was giving to much tire spin and the road was to steep and the truck sled back about 40 feet before we caught snow and not ice. The wife was freaking out. Luckly I got the truck turned around and we found a better way up.
