CAT scales are certified - I highly doubt that there's an error.

that's pretty heavy. When I weighed mine for the new rear springs I want to say I topped out around 6500-7000#'s. I'll have to check the weight slip, but it was much more than I expected for my F150.

Patman-- It's 9 bucks at most truck stops for a weigh in.

My '08 std cab 4X4 with the 5.4 as seen here has weighed in at aprox 7100 pounds several times. Seems everything on this truck is beefy (except the engine)

Sweet looking SD! Something about a regular cab truck, they really stand out and look good to me, kinda like old skool maybe? Either way, nice!

My friends 9k vertical lift would not pick up my truck this time with a full tank of fuel and the normal stuff I carry daily in my truck. The only difference between this time and last was this time I had a half tank of fuel last time and I don't have a heavy winch bumper on mine like Freeky does.

I'd LOVE to have one of those with a V-10 and a manual tranny.

Love that regular cab! I wish I could have gotten one, but they are extremely hard to find in anything but a white XL. Your truck looks like my truck's little brother.

I wasn't really looking for this truck either, but happened across it at a local Ford dealership while I was getting my other truck serviced. My truck was great, but I wanted something smaller... A guy had ordered it as an XLT with just about every mechanical option, but then got laid off and didn't buy the truck. I do wish it had the diesel or the V10 though. But it suits my needs well and will still tow my car/trailer well enough. Below is my old "bigger" truck

I like your new truck a lot better. I can't stand crew cab trucks. I understand their functionality, but hate that they have become the "norm". When I was little, I would see them full of workers, and I would know why they were called "crew" cabs. They hauled around crews of workers. Now I see them and think "grocery getter". The F150's with the little 5.5" beds are the worst. They look like a Chevy Avalanche.

Yup, that's why I roll with the white XL to conform

The ZF-6 is freakin' awesome I will say. I need the diesel though.

Can't beat IMO the plane XL gauges either.

This rig weighs in with the headache rack and toolbox at 8100 full of fuel.

Haha .... y'all are weighing HD pickups that will haul a lot ...
... and then you haul "a lot" in bumpers and big tires and winches and racks and etc.

Shoot .... my old 1977 F150 4X4 Custom with 351, auto, NP205 and 31/10.50-15s weighed some 6200 pounds as I recall last time I hauled a load to the dump (that was 6200 coming out, it was some heavier going in with that stack of pallets and old tires and wheels strapped on). I've hauled a ton of wood pellets on a pallet and more many times. Once shoveled gravel on it until it just started squatting a hair, weighed 2600 pounds heavier on the way out from the quarry.

Maybe I should keep old faithful after all?

My truck weighed 8400lbs coming out of the dump yesterday towing a small single axle utility trailer, maybe 8' long.

Well, since weighing the truck, I have upped the tires from 35's to 37's and added a dual steering stabilizer, which should add some weight. I have also swapped out the oem track bar with an adjustable track bar, which weighs a little less. Maybe I need to weigh it again.
