What is the maximum HP rating for those clutches in the manual transmission? After looking at torque converters for the automatic, it looks like some of them are good for 1600HP and up!

depending on the clutch you buy a south bend iron giant will hold over 2000hp

 

i think stock is good for ... 400? it wont hold crap past the stock 350. Id need a 700 to be safe.. maybe a 750

 

call both valair and south bend i'm sure they can hook you up even if its not listed on their sites

 

That's cool. I couldn't find one that was rated higher than 1000HP.

 

Yer's is the first other stick I've ever seen. Yes it is sad that the 6.7 is girly slushbox only.

my biggest bitch about ford is i couldnt get any options because i went with a manual.. Really.. wtf.. I couldnt get a power sliding rear window... because we all know that is ran by an automatic transmission...

Just another way to try and make you go automatic.. and pay another 4k.. Thats why the stick is gone.

Is yours an XLT or Lariat?

I wanted an XL, so it came exactly what I was looking for except 4x4. Would be the perfect truck then, but I have other 4x4s to make up for that.

Never researched the Lariats, but I know you can't get a handshaker with the King Ranch, Harley, Amarillo and such as they all have buckets and a center console in the way.
