Sweet truck. I'm not a fan of the painted mirrors, but to each his own. That's why we customize them, right? It's just strange that my mirrors came painted black on top and yours didn't. I think I would have left the bottom half black textured plastic.

 

Having the FX4 package you would think they're come painted already. Painting the entire mirror only goes in some trucks. Depends what look you want. If you're gonna have it look like a work truck then black looks better. I want mine to look like a show truck.

 

This is the direction I'm headed. 6-7" lift with 37's. This truck has 24's with 37's, but I may stick to 22's.

 

Looks good so far. I personally would of just painted the top cap of the mirror but looks good either way. I think it woulda looked sick with the grille shell PTM and black billet inserts, but you know which way your headed so keep it up. Maybe take the FX4 stickers off. It will look cleaner. I finally sold mine so im in the hunt for me a new F250, so maybe i can catch you.

Wow, that lower air dam painted white looks terrible!

 

I stuck the billet inserts in there for now. I want to get my headlights painted and get the FX4 painted shell. I have chrome bumpers so I'm not sure a black grill will look good. I been supposed to remove the stickers, but been busy working so left then until I can.

 

I don't like it painted either. The Job 1 version would look better. There's a lot painted on it that I'm not painting. I want to be at that height on 37's with those Fuel wheels in 22's.

 

Yeah, I've always like the Job 1 air dam better, but I hear the Job 2 air dam adds like 20 extra mpg!

 

Really nice truck and I like the direction it is going, but where is the spartan at!

 

Ya definately dont get black grille insterts unless you paint the bumpers.

 

I'm holding off on performance mods for little while. I'm scared of the warranty issues with them. When I do I'm not sure if I'll get the Spartan or SCT.

 

I was thinking of getting chrome package grill and painting the outer shell and leave the insert chrome. Or I would get the FX4 grill and put a billet insert if the factory black insert doesnt look good.
