Jake- it's bc I have to much chrome on the front IMO. As soon as I'm done with my building I'm going to either get the painted FX4 grill or Painted Harley grill along with painting my head lights. I don't have the extra cash or time at the moment. I will also try to find a valance from the early 08 models which had a shorter one.

Russo, no problem. Lol

Looks slot better but still agree too much chrome. And powers you need a tan front bumper. There's alot in houston

the only points i can give the big valance is hiding some undercarriage, otherwise with time it'll change color cuz of the sun

Is there a reason for the huge valance?
I know I saw somewhere that they are for directing air for cooling purposes or something like that, but is one that large necessary?

After job 1 in 2008 Ford went with a longer valence to gain 1-3 mpg on fuel. The valence is functional as hell but also ugly as hell.

I didn't realize it makes that much difference on mpg. It may not help me since I'm lifted. I may have to keep it if it does. I can't afford to lose another 3 mpg. I'm already at 11 mpg.

If anyone is good at photo shopping Could you put a painted FX4 or Harley grill on my truck please? thanks.
