Nice truck! But yea get rid of those lil ears hanging off it... I really don't know why Ford even makes those things...

tow mirrors and a tail gate and youre set, nice upgrade

I will have the tailgate next wed. I am hoping the place that has the camper would be willing to trade that for a fiberglass tonneau cover. Still trying to figure out what towing mirrors to get. Mine are power but unheated. Not sure I wan't to go through the pain and extra parts to get the heated ones.

You can wire up the heated part yourself, it's very simple.

Wire and a switch. Or use an upfitter switch if you have them.

Nice truck. Have fun with it. Oh and boy is it a long truck! At least its an easy color to clean.

I dont understand why they make a 50k+ truck, and put sailboat mirrors on it. If you didnt want towing mirrors, they could at least offer some decent standard mirrors.

are you sure someone didnt swap them? is there a switch on the dash for the mirrors? i thought the lariats came with tow mirrors with heat and power in and out

I haven't posted in a while but this is what she looks like now. Added the cover and towing mirrors. I also did a DPF/DOC delete with an SCT Live wire tuner from Innovative Diesel.
