swapping climate controls from basic to EATC possible?

Hi- I have a 2010 Super Duty F350. My truck is a regular cab truck, not extended or 4 door. My interior in very nice but i got my hands on a King Ranch plastic wood grain dash Bezel that came with the EATC.... So surely i want to swap out my plain bezel for it but i noticed the opening where heat controls are are not the same.

SO, my options are either to use the bezel and incorporate the EATC and do away with my base ***** controls.
or
Not change anything.

The plug-ins look exactly the same on the back of the basic set and the EATC so the plugs look interchangable. (Are they?) The EATC also has "heated seat buttons" a "DUAL button". My truck has neither of these in my basic cluster and if i swapped they would just be dummy buttons in the EATC (which is fine with me).

So i guess the question is, Can i plug it in and will it work with the exception of the dummy buttons? Has anyone done this before to a Super Duty?

Howdy and welcome. I haven't heard of anyone doing this, but would be interesting to find out.

Does your truck have an ambient air temp sensor(And outside temp guage)? And EATC system will not work with out one. You'd have to get pretty deep into the wiring of the system to figure out weather or not it would just be plug and play/adding parts to existing harness's and what not.

No, no outside temp display, so it must not have a ambient air temp sensor... darn it...
