SD 6.2L Owners and 6.0 guys!

Hey just wondering how you like the V-8 in the new SD. I still want a SD, but cant justify the money of the PSD. Anyway just curious if any of you have towed much with them and your opinions of it all around. I tow a little bit, but nothing serious. Im needing a horse trailer also and have been kicking around getting one with living quarters and im afraid i will be extending my f150's limits.
Im also considering a 2005 lariat PSD at my local ford dealership that has 5700 miles on it. Smells new on the inside. Id rather have the diesel, but i dont know if what i will be doing with it would pay off.

a 2005 with only 5700 miles???

I would be scared to get a 6.0 with only that many miles.

Yah i just looked at it today. its in awesome shape. There are a few cosmetic things with the paint. like a small scratch here and there. it almost smelled kinda like an old house that had been sitting forever. The rear leaf springs looked brand new as did the whole undercarriage. I didnt drive it. Heres the link

if you get a 6.0 make sure to have 3k set aside for if/when headgaskets blow and EGR goes bad (arp studs and EGR delete done at this time)

i had good luck with my 05 6.0 for the most part, just sold it beginning of this month w/ 117k miles. diesels don't like to sit for long periods which this one obviously did.

under the hood looks like complete crap, mine looked brand new. does it have a clean title? something doesn't look right about it, maybe it's just dirty from sitting on a lot.

if money isn't an issue, i'd go with a new 6.2l just for the newness and cheaper maintenance.

Thats more of what im wanting to do. Its just dirty from sitting on the lot. not sure on the title. This is a Ford dealership, not just a car sales place, so id assume its clean title. Its been in business for years im good friends with the owners son... anyway pretty strange such low miles to me.

I like this one. its about 30 min from my house. ive been chatting a little with a salesman through email. hes going to put together an offer on my truck and crap like that. Im pretty sure its not going to happen, but just thought id check around. I dont really need all the crap these lariats have either....i just like the looks of this one.

I wouldn't mind pickin up a low mile 6.0L like that truck, but it would go right to the shop to have 3-4k dumped in to make a reliable motor. Personally I'd keep lookin' for a clean 7.3L.
