Will '08 rear lights work on earlier model years

I beleive they just would bolt in, but any wiring issues?

Yes they work. You just need the different reverse light pigtail.

go to lmctruck.com to the ford truck section on page 95 look at the 08+ tails you need part 5 and 6 for the reverse light pigtail total should come out around 180
