Those seats are pretty cool. Never knew you could mount a scba in a seat.

Yeah they're custom for fire apparatuses. You're supposed to bunker up, and mount the SCBA around you and then buckle up so not only is the seat belt holding you in, but the tank/seat as well. When you arrive on scene you reach overhead (like a fighter jet ejection seat ) and pull a handle and the tank releases.

wow! I just noticed you're in swannee county. I go down their often to fish in the river and visit family in Live Oak. Maybe one day I'll see you driving around. (Don't get creeped out if you see someone in a black supercrew waving at you like a maniac)
Anyways, Nice 550!

After putting around in it some more it is terribly slow. I hate to say it but I really think my 4.2L V6 could outrun it. I don't blame it, dealer sheet says its ~17,500 lbs with all the equipment on it.

Cool man! Send me a PM if you are ever in the area! My truck is almost in Live Oak every day, and it is surely a stand out-ish front end. You won't miss it if you see me.

our f550 dump at the city i work for in the summer has ~8500 miles and a little over a 1000 engine hours. no way i shut it off when i'm working, the AC in it blows so cold i'm taking advantage of that in the summer with 105+ temperatures

those seats are pretty cool, never noticed any of our small fire trucks with seats like those.

Nice! Wish I still had a work truck to rag on. Had a V10 2wd work truck that would spin the tires all day lol.

Cool reflection of your truck in the last pic.
