got the dash installed 2 weekends ago and love it. had to do slight modification to the ac controls and have the right radio coming.

then i cut the cat off this past sunday and had it straight piped on monday

then i got a new steering stabilizer on saturday and ordered a set of front and back weather tech molded floor mats that will be here thursday.

then today i got another set of upfitter switches and all the wiring this time

then got some more connectors for the newer style radio so i dont have to cut my stock one off

some more air box clips since the truck only came with one

and a mirror light since the one thats on the driver side has a giant crack.

small stuff but its progress and fun. i think i might see about getting another brain for the second set of switches so i have 8 since i sold the brake controller i couldnt use

have alot of plans for this week including the xcal3 coming in tomorrow and the retrosolutions HID's also

so ive heard. thats why i took the deal for the tuner and bulletproof oil cooler i got. im working on saving up some for the preventative stuff instead of exterior appearance.

i really want/need gauges or an insight cts but i might skip those till after the cooler is in and egr off

Doesn't yet but I might see a out swapping it out later.

For now I'm not sure what I'd do with 8 and id also have to do some fancy wiring for them. For now I plan to have one as high idle but other than that who knows.

just ran across this jake, looking good.

a little trick most people don't know, the edge insight will fit into the space where your upfitters go (can't remember if upfitters and TBC are same size or not), so if one of those are empty it's a good spot to have it if you don't want a pod on top of your dash. you do need the rubber for the pod though to have it hold snug in their so it won't move.

been down to powerstroke magic yet and talked to phil and garrett?

i ordered the CTS yesterday so i think it might be alittle to big for that spot but im gonna come up with somewhere for it other than the windshield. for now itll probably be in the cubby below the switches. but i sold the TBC so i do have the open spot still.

i havent yet cuz im getting some stuff first. i got a bulletproofed oem replacement oil cooler coming in the mail this week and im trying to see if i just want to do the egr delete oil cooler and batmowheel myself before going to ps magic for studs cuz i have a feelin ill need new heads when the pull them.

i do have new videos also

those are with 2 of the spartan tunes and found out the truck is an early 04 so basically has the same turbo as the 03 that whistles so nice haha

talk to them if you want studs anyways, egr delete should not add much since all of those pieces will be off anyhow

what makes you think you will need heads?

there was a guy on PSN from louisiana that took his there and his heads were pitted and needed machining and ps magic doesnt have a trusted machinist local according to the thread and their replies so he had to get new heads. that plus i want those bitches completely flat so once i do studs i dont have to think about the gaskets blowing cuz the head surface was wavy. (and i have 172K which is alot to break the current seal and hope it mates again.)

im going to before i do anything and since im getting the cts i might hold off on installing the oil cooler and delete if i dont have any temp issues etc. i want to do the batmowheel asap after the wedding in october. on a truck with stock turbo and upgraded injectors they got dyno gains of 100 ftlbs and 200 deg egt drop for 400 bucks
