Haulin' 6.7L's

Heavier than I thought, but they were crew 4x4 long boxes.

Somethings not right there. My dad just weighed his 2011 longbox crewcab 6.7L loaded Lariat and it was 8,500 give or take with a full fiberglass top. I wonder how those trucks you have weighed were so much? 450's?

GVW & GVRW is not the same as curb weight.

I assume the GVW on the orange tape is what the truck weighed for shipping purposes, which is basically the curb weight of the truck shown, as it sits, ready for shipping.
My dads truck unloaded, I'd figure another curb weight, is less than that stripped truck shown. Doesn't make sense.
I understand the GVWR, but that is not in this equation, and no Superduty has that low of a GVWR anyway, so that is why I figure the GVW shown is a curb weight for shipping.

Yes, that is the curb weight for figuring shipping and exact center of gravity of the aircraft. Pretty picky scales they use, and they park within a few inches to get the CG right.
