I used to race my 08..I made about 25 passes in the truck with a best of 12.81@102 and 1.7 60 ft consistently with only intake exhaust and tune.
the only thing you really need to do is drop the pressure in all 4 tires and make sure your hubs are locked

put it in 4 hi and leave it there. Build a little boost at the line and just go! heres some vids so you can see my method...

maybe this will take you to a list of track vids

Jake,
fwiw my last set a tires were 35" trail grapplers and those things would stick to the ground in 2wd! In 4wd I could launch on the street and do 0-60 in 4.5 seconds! I suppose I was pushing between 550 and 600 to wheels and about 1200 ft lbs...it was like a drug for awhile...4hi launches were

I don't know because my Lightning isn't completed...you can't beat the feeling of grip and go on the street with 4hi though...well we'll see lol

IIRC, even if you do switch out of 4wd under full throttle it won't shift out until you left off.

just leave it and shift back into 2wd before you turn around at the end

Not bad, I'd say it has more in it. I was running 14.6 @89 on 37s with a race tune with the stock turbo and injectors. 8300lbs race weight. That's launching at about 15-20psi in 4HI of course.
