Glad you had a good time, looks fun, but I'd feel to embarrassed to see what my truck would run, ha.

That's not bad for a 7000lb truck. Run a perf tune next time, knucklehead

helps to launch at 26 pounds of boost. not part throttle sleeping at the light... he will get 14's easy.. with just a tune and opened exhaust i was there.. once studded we (me and jake) can run a bit hotter tune and get a lil faster.

It was very last minute and I didn't have my x3 with me. Boosted launch, different shoes and boost gauge I should easily be in the upper 14's.

Studs coming probably in spring to summer and then like Dave said a hotter tune. I really want to try out truck source diesel (Tsd) tunes. Heard amazing things about them

Jake i just thought also. you stage like a gasser. roll into first beam, break second using the trucks power while holding the brake. that way you don't hold boost for long and then soak everything in the air path with 300 degree heat.

i also let them stage first so i don't sit there and build heat..

i am thinking of buying a cheap set of rims and street tires to drag in. i am sure it will help for a 1/10th or 2.

looks like a trade to an 08 or major fun money being spent on the 05 is in the near future. 126K miles and running strong, but i want MOAR power!!!!

Good thinking on staging Dave. I need to get back out after the truck goes to the shop next week.

6.4's make power stupid easy haha. Tuner can get into the 13's

I'm really surprised you are still in the 15's even w/ your first trip to the strip.

roughly what HP are you supposed to be making with your current set up?

4WD launch for sure. wouldn't go anywhere in 2WD. he is around 7500 if i am not mistaken.. it is posted in the earlier posts. and he hasn't gone with any real mods to speak of. that night i believe he even had a less HP tune than he could have but didn't have his flasher in the truck when they decided to go.

13's sound good to me Jake.....

You should be dead at 7500 lbs unloaded, that's what my 05 crew cab fx4 weighed on the scales.
