Black tail/head lights

Hey y'all I'm looking for a christmas present for my dad. He has a 2002 F-250 7.3, 4x4. It's black and was thinking head lights and tail lights would make for a sweet christmas present and an upgrade to his "baby." Can y'all post pictures of you blacked out head lights/tail lights on your strokers with the model/brand? Or can someone point me in the direction of a good site that I can get a good idea of what the head and tail light would look like?

It seems hard to get a sense of a good style of head light and tail light without it being on the actual truck. I'm just looking for a nice looking head light and tail light and am clueless as their are so many different styles to go after.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

upgrade him to the 2005-2007 style lights and grille. Couple hundred $$$ and it's a whole new truck. For about $500 total, you can even upgrade the grille to a 05+ look.

Here are my DIY Black headlights. I don't like blacked out tails personally. Seems like asking for someone to rear-end me

Yeah that does look sweet. I'm thinkering around looking for some good sites that will give a good idea what each light would look like, but coming up empty. Ebay has some nice looking lights, but idk if they'd look too ricer like or not. I'll try to get a picture of his rig up this weekend.

He just added some silver flares that makes the truck look sweet IMO. He uses his truck to haul a 5th wheel almost everyday. He also puts a ton of miles on so the best upgrade would be wheels and tires. But that's not practical as a set of AT's or MT's wouldn't last him but maybe a year.

I'll keep looking for some head lights. I agree with the tail lights, but some of the smoked/blacked out tail lights do look pretty cool.

I know this may sound like a newb and stupid question, but y'alls trucks are newer body style than my dad's. Will they still fit? Or will I need to buy a conversion kit?

mines an 04 and same body style. you can use the newer lights up front and newer grille and bumper also.

if you just do the lights (like me currently) you have to cut out parts of the header panel but its very simple. ill link the install in a few.

Yeah I'm liking those Harley Lights an awful lot. Nice looking Strokers too BTW. I've saw a few of you have DIY heads. I've searched for step by step process, but was wondering how difficult and time consuming that was?

Search my username for the term "DIY"

I've done 2 DIY Black headlight write-ups. One for SD, the other for a 04-08 F-150.

I think the process is easy. But I'm also a tightwad who hates paying for something I can do myself
