Its much easier to lift a superduty than it is a IFS vehicle. it took about 4 hours to lift the truck s compared to about 8 to 10 on an IFS vehicle like a F150

Looking sweet!

Solid axle is much easier and quicker than an IFS. It took me and a friend 7 hours to do my 250. That is me doing everything and him handing me stuff. That also includes taking about 1.5-2 hours of brakes

When I done my F-150 it took two of us both working on it 10 hours. It was my first install.

I did a 2011 z-71 yesterday basically by myself and someone helping with the heavier components and handing me things. It took me 13.5 hours with 2 hours of brakes.

On an IFS you have to cut part of where the rear cross-member is. On a GM you have to grind on the front differential.

Thanks guys. Its a work in progress as many trucks on here. And as for straight axle lifts compared to IFS lifts it is much easier to do a straight axle lift as you stated earlier. cutting or grinding is involved in most newer vehicles with IFS so it is more time consuming

Griff, have you removed the step bars to see how much higher it makes the truck look? If you haven't, when you do you'll probably hate having to put them back. I'd either save up for the AMP's or get some N-fabs.

Griff, that's a badass truck you got there! Did you notice any power loss with the bigger tires?
