finally got a F250

i just bought a 1988 f250 4x4 460 with ONLY 70K Miles. i only paid 1200 its got a little tranny leak that ill fix in the next couple of days. My plans Are to do a SAS on it since ive heard they are directly "BOLT-ON" so ill try and find a D60 with matching gears. if anyone has any more info on this swap that would be great. The reson i decided to buy this truck was because i didnt want to save long enough to get a cummins so i bought this truck and im gonna swap a 12v in it as soon as i get the money. Let me know if there is actually more to the SAS than i think so i know what to buy upfront. ill get some pics later today

So I can get a d60 and not have to swap the trans crossmember from a f 350

Why would you swap a tranny crossmember for a SAS?

Sure the truck aint 170k?

well fixed the tranny leak today and filled up the tank and decided im probably not keeping this truck much longer so i put it up on CL for 2750. dont get me wrong i love this truck its got WAY more ***** than the 4.6, but i think if i can sell the 460 for atleast 1500 and the f150 for 4000 i can go buy a 7.3 or a cummins
