Sinister EGR Delete Kit

Anyone used or heard of anyone's luck using the Sinster brand EGR delete kit? I have a small EGR cooler leak starting(i think) pulled egr valve and it looks a little wet.

No, degas seems fine, just switched from gold to rotella elc and didn't notice anything. Will egr delete help with mileage? Currently @ 14.1

are you running a coolant filter? can you monitor your oil and coolant temps?

if your not tuned yet it might help a little but a tune would do more for you.

I do not have a coolant filter, nor can i monitor my temps yet, just purchased the truck two weeks ago and trying to get some things done to prevent catastrophic failure!

did you flush the coolant system when you swapped to elc or just drain and refill?

I HIGHLY suggest you get an edge insight (CS or CTS) or scangauge II ASAP. if your egr cooler is leaking i bet your oil cooler is clogged as well and needs replacing while your in there.

I was getting 14 all the time stock. I now get 14 in the city on trips of 2-3 miles etc. On the why it runs 16-18. It Matt at gear head automotive performance srl (street race lite) I really like the power and rive ability with it and Matt does low to no smoke tunes. Look him up he's a good guy.
