got the truck wed night. very quick and fun to drive..
installed the water/meth kit today. wasn't that bad, just took awhile to get motivated and i shot the shoot with scotty my buddy. anyway here are pics
drilled and installed the nozzles and boost T.
then fit the 7 gallon tank and ran the line
then mounted and wired the pump and solenoid
then installed and wired the controller
then installed the intake elbow
and plumbed the lines and high boost solenoid
truck runs no different than before but i have not done much more than ops check it. maybe tomorrow i will get into it to see what it will do.
i do need to get to lowes or home depot to get some plumbing items to attach the solenoid to the bed body. zip ties will only work so long.

So this truck is very fun now!!! Smoke free until I get on it and on the street tune it stays pretty smoke free until 3/4 peddles.
The water/Meth injection system needed some tweaking and I finally pulled the biggest nozzle off it as it seemed to be too much fluid. After that, it works well and at WOT uphill the EGT's don't get above 1200 degrees. I might swap the med nozzle that I left in the intake or the biggest one I pulled. That might cool it some more and still let the system work.
So glad I did or had someone else do these upgrades!

tweaked the water/meth system, played with boost level at launch and i did a 14.02 @ 94.9 last weekend on the 1/4. i have a HPOP that is going out so that held me back a little bit but really i think i need ladder bars for the rear.
when i launch, the fronts spin and the rears twist the springs pretty good.
so i trimmed almost a second of the 1/4 and gained 6 MPH. looking forwards to next track day as i should have the HPOP fixed and ladder bars in.

Changed tunes and nailed a 13.7 at 97mph.
Also scattered the trans pump 3/4's down on the third pass yet still squeaked by my buddy in his ram 3500 CTD. But then he towed me to a parking lot LOL.
Just settled the price for a full billet 5R110 that should be here in a week. Looking for 12's now. I knew the trans was next and now that it is being upgraded, I am gonna spray it.

Drick, my truck is slow compared to a few other diesels i know but yes, the truck is heavy but damn it makes a lot of power. hoping this trans and a new tune will get me low 13's dare i say 12.99???

this has been a journey to say the least.
three different trips to the shop. 2 high pressure oil pumps, faulty Injector o rings that caused a no hot start condition.
now the trans ate itself on a 1/4 mile pass.
all this started because my up-pipes cracked and it sounded like the turbo bearing going out. so i went all out and fixed the known issues at once.
now i have a perfectly good turbo in my garage but oh well.
