Is this weird?
Lately when I go to fire up my truck, a cold start only, no matter the temp outside. It will idle like this at times, but once I put it in reverse or drive and take off it acts normal and goes down the road fine, for the most part. Now I know the computer has to do what it can to keep the motor running until it warms up but this seems excessive. What should I do to maybe correct this if you guys think its not normal. I should also add, I'm touching the gas pedal at all in the video.. and at times when I'm going down the road just holding the pedal still, you can kinda feel like I'm pushing on the gas then letting off, pushing on, then letting off. its very light but I can tell its there. Sometimes I notice it in the tach and sometimes it doesn't really show. Do you guys think this is the Throttle position sensor? My truck being an 05 does it have a idle air control valve thing on the back of the throttle body?
truck is 05 F350 V10, auto for specs
*edit* oh and the light you see on the dash is a ABS light..I need to replace my wheel speed sensors..

Not that it definitely means anything, but Rock Auto lists a throttle body motor but no IAC for your truck. They do list a TPS, it's $65 for a new Motorcraft and $20 for a private label Standard on wholesaler closeout.
How many miles on it, and have the plugs and/or cops ever been changed? Have you ever used any injector cleaner in the gas? Techron is the best.

Yep put motorcraft plugs in it. I'm kinda a stickler about having to have motorcraft stuff on it. Well...lol I bought a new TPS today, put it on and the thing wouldn't start..I thought that was weird. So I thought well let me debunk the the sensor I just put on and throw the old one back on. Once I got the old one back on, it fired right up and idle'ed perfect and the truck has sat for over a day. (I wanted the truck to really sit so it would be a cold start to find out if the new TPS would fix my problem.) So once I put the old sensor back on and it was running fine it triggered a check engine light which I then drove the truck over to my buddy who works at a parts store and we read the code(s) and it was something called a idle actuator or something like that. I can't remember what it was called right now off hand but we went and looked up the part and couldn't find it for my model year of truck. So we cleared the codes I left my old TPS on and returned the other one I bought to save some right now and I'm just gonna drive it for the time being until it throws another code..I think I'm gonna invest in a OBD II reader because there are so many codes listed in my Haynes manual that it could throw over time..
Anyway does anyone know what could of been wrong with it?
