2012 F250 6.2L died at stoplight

Anyone experience a random shutdown while sitting at a stoplight? I have a 2012 Lariat 6.2 with 3k miles. I have nav/sync and all the other electronics and figured somethimg puked and caused the truck to die.

I put it back in park and restarted it without issues and so far so good, but wanted to know if this was a fluke or tell tell sign of something worse

some of the 5.0 guys are having this issue also....one of them took his truck in and the dealer replaced the MAF senser in the intake and so far it hasn't died again....the most interesting part is that upon restart the dtc trouble code is gone.....

That is what I was afraid of, unless I can replicate the issue for the dealer or provide them a code I am not sure how willing they will be to help out.

For a new truck that is unacceptable. Get a new dealer if they won't help.

I agree, unacceptableon a new truck! Make sure you get them to pay and change what needs to be changed before its too late.
Hope it's a one time thing.
