So far today its got 6 quarts of motorcraft, motorcraft filter, motorcraft air filter, motorcraft fuel filter, Sylvania Silver Star bulbs. Right now its getting Window tint and weather tech front and rear mats.

As far as the lights on the mirror, i looked this morning and its a black plastic piece that comes off the mirror and down the windsheild a little piece and it says Echo on it.

You sure that ZF isn't a 6 speed? I show the changeover year was 1999. The ZF6 has a granny (L), then 1-5 with 4th direct and 5th OD.

FYI, your published tow limit is 10k with a conventional (bumper pull) trailer. 5th wheel depends on 2wd/4wd and axle ratio, it's anywhere from 10k to 13.8k.

Its a 5 speed. 1st threw 5th. 1st is such a low gear i start off in second all the time.

Just got another smoking deal on a brand new 16k reese 5th wheel hitch and rail kit with all hardware brand new never used still in the box for $300. Thank you craigslist .

Went and got a trailer brake controller, 7 & 4 Pin Connector. My wallet is crying . After buying the truck, oil change, filter,lights,tint,weather techs,fifth wheel,brake controller,light plug,tow mirrors.. There shouldnt be much else to get. Only other thing i may end up getting is a set of COP's.

Coy, what axle ratio do you have (if you don't know, just post the code), and is it 2wd or 4wd?

The other tag on the axle says use only 75w 140 synthetic oil only. The truck is 2wd

Silverstars are very good. I havent tested them in this truck but had them in my old KR and they gave out much better light output.
