Question 94 F250 Oil Pan Replacement... 1/2 done oil pan wont go in between motor mounts

I have done the hard part and replaced my oil pan and pump...
Now all I have to do is lift up the pan and bolt it on.... easy right? NO....

The pan wont fit between the motor mounts by itself let alone with the gasket on cuz it hangs over a bit and it knocks it inside the pan.

I have to like turn the pan and press it past the motor mounts....

Just wondering.... does everyone else just remove the motor mounts? I might do this and see if it helps..... got too pissed off tonight.

Or is there a trick to it that Im missing? Any easier way to hold the gasket on the pan rather than black RTV?

You have to undo the motor mounts and raise the motor.

Lol of course the motor is jacked up and the mounts are disconnected from the frame...

I'm gonna try unbolt inch the mounts from the block Saturday... I didn't think this was necessary tho...
