Question Maybe...

I think the "X20" portion denotes that it's a Super cab, single-rear wheel, 4x2 truck.

A 4x4 of the same configuration would have an "X21" sequence.

Thumbs up

I'm not sure about your VIN but I've got mine decoded and I can relate it to yours....on mine....
1FT- means USA compleated vehicle (yours too)
the 4th digit is N = GVWR
I've got W20 in the 5-7 digit spaces = F250 CC 4x2 SRW
in #8 digit I've got an F (just like yours) = 7.3 diesel
#10 digit is Y = year 2000 yours is an X, could mean 1999
#11 digit is E = assembly plant and means KY, yours is also built in KY
the rest are build sequence #'s

VIN #

Thanks Nomo and Tina that helps. This was the vin of a truck that I was looking at to buy and the advertiser had it advertised as a '98. Today I noticed he had changed the add and is advertising it as a '99 which clears up my confusion because it was the newer body style which I didn't think they came out with 'til "99.

Thanks
Randy
