headlight question

We have a 99 f250 HD with a work truck package. The headlights on it are not contoured with the body like the xl, xlt package lights. Instead they are some plain jane rectangle lights recessed into a plastic molding. Im wondering if I can take the curent lights out and replace them with the countorued lights.

any idea? im thinking since the same year came with different ligths it shouldnt be that hard

I think you have to replace the entire grill, but not a hundred percent positive.

Not positive, but i would have to agree that it probably needs the new grill. Besides that, you would also have to switch the wiring i believe to the halogen bulb insert instead of a sealed halogen beam. You would also have to see how the adjustment screws were held in comparison. I'm sure it can be done, but to what value is it worth? that's for you to decide. I would really try to look at both type at the same time. Maybe go look at a dealership and pop the hood and see how it compares to yours.

Best of luck
