Make sure it's not out of fuel.
Check the glow plug system, make sure the controller and plugs are good.
both batteries have to be fully charged because the PS needs to crank very fast to start.
check the engine oil. The PS uses engine oil pressure to pressurize the injectors so make sure the oil is changed often and the level is at the Max line. If it is low on oil it will not start due to lack of oil pressure in the cylinder head.
If all that stuff checks out then you need to start running computer tests.
GOOD LUCK!

I have a 2001 F250 PSD that also won't start. It has been in the shop 4 times. They checked the glow plugs, batteries, compression sensor, and changed the oil to a heavier weight. They seem stumped. It is getting about a 10 to 15 second crank time, then eventually starting. Even though it eventually starts, it is wearing out my starter. It was slow to start when I bought it, but the dealer assured me that it was because it had been sitting on the lot for a while, and that they would replace the batteries if it continued......4 trips to the service department later it is still not starting right...HELP!
