We have a new '02 F-350 PSD that we are trying to get an RPM signal from for our driving monitor. On the '01's this was fairly easy, but the '02 has a "twisted pair" which apparently have 4 signals going through them, one of which is the RPM signal.
Does anyone know a good way to tap into the RPM signal? We do have a idle control unit in this truck, but were told this is not the way to go..??
I'm not actually doing the install, one of my mechanics is, but the poor guy is at a loss. Local Ford garage can't seem to help.
